Keratin hair extensions are pre-tipped pieced hair (dipped in protein wax) used to extend the length of one’s hair.  Bonding the natural hair with the extensions is accomplished with a heated tool, and the keratin bond is fused with one’s own hair.  This is the fastest and simplest hair extension technique.

The tiny beads of keratin adhesive take the place of other fastening options such as glue or tape.  As mentioned, keratin hair extension can be being dyed, curled, straightened, and styled – what you normally do with your own hair, you can do with keratin extensions!

Keratin extensions are applied one by one and laid down in rows.  This way, they will, always, be covered by another section of hair – you can, even, wear a pony tail!  Depending on our clients’ requests, the keratin process takes between one and two hours.  At Chaviv Hair, we offer the keratin technique using weft hair, at an additional charge.
